Are you passionate about craftsmanship, creativity, and the maker movement? Do you have a story to tell about artisans, independent creators, or meaningful design? We’d love to hear from you. At Small Batch Magazine, we welcome fresh voices who share our love for slow-made goods, thoughtful storytelling, and global creativity.
Small Batch Magazine is a space that honors the people and processes behind handmade and small-batch creations. We’re always looking to feature writers who can capture the heart of craftsmanship—whether it’s a behind-the-scenes look at a studio, an interview with a local maker, an exploration of traditional techniques, or a thoughtful take on the evolving world of independent design.
What We’re Looking For
We accept submissions on a rolling basis and are interested in the following:
- Feature Stories: Profiles of artisans, craftspeople, and small-batch brands
- Essays & Perspectives: Personal reflections on creativity, slow living, or the maker’s journey
- How-Tos & Process Pieces: Insight into techniques, materials, or making practices
- Travel & Culture: Stories from craft-focused destinations or cultural traditions
- Sustainability in Craft: Writing that explores ethics, sourcing, and mindful production
We value authenticity, curiosity, and a warm, engaging tone. Your writing should reflect a respect for the maker’s process and a genuine interest in their work.
